Hey, there! Hope you enjoy!“So, what do you think?” Lily asked James, after they hanged their coats and took their shoes off. The house was cold, so she put her cozy socks on before headed to the kitchen to make them some tea.
She and James had just arrived from a secret meeting with Albus Dumbledore, and they didn’t share one single word in the way home. The headmaster invited them to join the Order of the Phoenix, and explained all about the group and it’s goal, giving them time to think about the decision to be made.
“I don’t know, Lil.” James leaned on the kitchen’s table, his eyes clearly lost with his thoughts. “It will be dangerous.”
She stared at him, funny, as she prepared the kettle. “Well, that’s kind of the point, isn’t it?”
James didn’t respond to that. Something was really bothering him. Lily approached him, touching his arm gently.
“Talk to me.” She said, when he lowed his eyes to meet her green ones.
“To be honest? I’m scared, Lily.” James sighed. He was struggling with those thoughts for weeks now, and she needed to know what was hunting his mind. “Because I cannot bear the thought of losing you. And don’t get me wrong, that’s not about you’re not being able to, ‘cause I know you can kick some ass, if you want.” She smiled a bit, and he continued. “But this is huge! We’re not talking about tryouts, or school tests, it’s- it’s one mistake, and you’re done.”
James took a deep breath. “And I couldn’t live in a world that you’re not in, Lil. You’re my hole damn life, and- just thinking about it makes me terrified.” His eyes were filled in with tears, but he didn’t matter - he was a little bit relieved to share that with her.
“Oh, love.” Lily hugged him, resting her head on his chest and letting a small tear scape from her eyes. She couldn’t recall when she’d last seen him this concerned. “Every time you step out of that door, I wonder if I am going to see you again. And you don’t know how much that hurts.” She raised her head to look at him. “But there is a war going on- there are people dying everyday, and it kills me to sit around, watching it all burn down, without doing anything.”
She held his head between her small, cold hands. “Hon, I know we can make a difference. I know we can help out, and maybe- maybe end this, for God’s sake. Because we are good together, James, we really are.”
James hugged her tight, looking deeply into her eyes as his mind flew with all the different scenarios of accepting that offer. Of course she was right, and he would just have to get over himself to admit that. Maybe he could talk to Dumbledore, so they would work together, and that way maybe everything was going to be fine. Finally, he nodded. “Fine. But you have to promise me that we’re retiring whenever something changes.”
Lily frowned, and he explained: “If a baby comes.”
“Yeah, I think we can agree with that.” She smiled, touching his chin with her fingers.
He grinned too. “You know, I don’t think I deserve you.”
“Oh, but you do.” She said, kissing him softly. “And I love you more than anything.”
James Potter shrugged. “Yeah, I can live with that.”
As they kissed, the kettle sizzled with the boiling water, but none of them cared much about it.
- jily moments -
November, 1978, seventh year’s boys dormitory.
“What the hell is this, anyway?” Lily Evans inquired, holding the Marauders’ Map, after winning a brief fight against the four boys for the parchment. They were still impressed with the strenght and habilty to scape of that tiny woman. She, however, kept turning over and over the piece of paper in her hands, disbelieved.
“Prongs, you’ve gotta keep your woman under control.” Peter said, collapsing into his bed, tired. She was across the dormitory, standing up in James’ bed, not knowing where to look first in the map - it was simply amazing.
From the past two months, Lily was practically a member of the boys’ dormitory, once she started dating a resident of it. So, her presence was always expected and welcomed - actually, that kind of scene was becoming very familiar. Nevertheless, she discovered something new about James and the guys every day that went by, and Lily couldn’t think of anything they weren’t capable of. Her fingers touched the parchment, and she noticed that her drawed name moved as she did so.
“I mean, did you guys draw all of this?” Lily asked, still intrigued. That must have taken a bunch of time.
“Remus and I did the drawing. Sirius and Peter… well, they were also there.” James said, grinning, as he grabbed his girlfriend by her hips and pulled her to his lap. She let a “oof” come out of her lips, as she was taken by surprise – good surprise, though.
“Yeah, but if we weren’t, James would have written your name with a dozen flying hearts instead.” Sirius mocked, laughing a bit – he stopped as soon as James’ pillow hit him in the face. Lily didn’t mind to smile to that.
“Wait, so you’re saying that Remus put his hands in this? That’s not possible.” She said, turning to gaze her best friend, in the neighbourd’s bed. “He’s way too nerd.”
“Oh, you’re the one to talk.” Remus replied, with a laugh.
James lowered his voice, so only Lily could hear it, and pointed to their two dots, really close in the map. “Let’s bet that we can, indeed, be in the same space at the same time and make both of our dots as one?”
Lily blushed. “I think we should charge the boys for the show first, then.”
That made him smile, as he kissed her softly. Lily forgot about the map, as she wrapped her arms around James’ neck – that was way more interesting to do.

Happy Valentine’s! I hope you enjoy x
The very first one
Lily was sitting alone at Gryffindor’s table at the Great Hall, on a freezing afternoon, with a bunch of books opened and an almost full-written parchment in front of her. She was about to finish her History of Magic’s essay, and she coulnd’t think of nothing else as boring as this; even though Lily didn’t dislike this particular subject, she was almost falling asleep.
All of a sudden, as she was concluding her job, a tall boy rushed in the particularly quiet Hall towards the redhaired girl. “Lily! Lily!” Sirius kept shouting, as he approached her, while the other students that fulfilled the room stared angrily at him.
Lily dropped her quill, a little bit mad at first. “For God’s sake, a girl definetly cannot have some privacy in this castle!” She said, once that kind of interruption was becoming regular after her friendship with the marauders started. However, when their eyes met, she saw something unusual in his expression, something like… fear. She never saw Sirius that desperate, and that scared her like hell.
“You have to come.” He said, grabbing her by her arm and trying to pull her from her seat. Lily looked deeply into his eyes, in a questioning way, still not moving. Then he said: “It’s James.”

It was already two o'clock am when Lily Evans walked drunkly towards the drinks table at Gryffindor’s common room, still giggling about something she couldn’t remember anymore. There was a celebration going on after their house won the quidditch game against Ravenclaw earlier that day, and of course the marauders couldn’t go past it without some butterbeers and a little music - despite the knowns of Professor McGonagall, obviously. So there she was, drinking a little more than she was used to and starting to feel a little dizzy. Lily was serving herself with another cup of that tremendously tasty butterbeer when James Potter appeared by her side, with a surprised expression on his face. Besides the alcohol effect that was starting to show up in her system, the reasonable part of Lily became a little anxious, and she was staring at the reason of her raced heartbeat. It was the end of sixth year, and Lily’s feelings about the boy she believed being the greatest jerk that ever stepped in that castle was starting to change - even though she denied it with all her heart.“Am I seeing this correctly? Is Lily Evans drunk for the first time in history?” James asked, and her legs trembled a bit when his lips curved in a cricked grin. Not a good sign, she thought.Lily lifted up her chin, trying to hide the hush of confused thoughts that was going on on her mind. “For your information, Potter, I’m in complete control of this particular situation, thank you very much.”James’ smile grew; she would’ve sound pretty convincing if it wasn’t by her rolled tong. “Well, since you’re holding it up pretty good, what do you say about dancing this next song with me?” He needed to try.She rolled her eyes at him and regretted it immediately - it only made her more dizzy. “Nope.”His grin fell from his lips; Lily was in better shape than he thought she was. James was aware that their small talk was being watched by a few eyes around them, but he couldn’t care less. He stepped closer to her, so now he could properly see the different tones of green shining in Lily’s eyes.“Why don’t you let me flirt with you?” James asked, lowering his voice a little bit.She smiled, and the answered escaped from her lips before she could think properly. “Because if I did, you wouldn’t flirt anymore.”That sentence surprised both of them, and he saw a little panic in her expression. “Oh shit.” Lily said, staring at him. “I shouldn’t have said that.” She could feel her face burning a bit, and she knew her cheeks were assuming a red colour, matching the walls of the common room behind her.James was still surprised when his feet unconsciously stepped towards her, slowly. Lily noticed that careful movement, and she felt her heart beating against her skin. “What are you doing?” She asked, in a whisper.“Walking slowly towards you.” He answered, close enough so she could smell his perfume.Lily didn’t move her eyes from his. “Why?”“Because if I ran, I would scare you off.” James said, ending the distance between them. His hands touched Lily'a face in a gentle move, and she inevitably stared at his lips.James kissed her.

Listen. Harry James Potter was an accident.
You cannot convince me otherwise. Lily and James were 19 when they got pregnant. There’s no way that was on purpose.
Please picture it.
Lily tells James they’re pregnant. James panics, leaves, finds the other Marauders and demands a lads night, you know, no reason, just some drunken shenanigans for no reason at all with friends! Remus notices something seems a bit off and keeps an eye on his friend, but no one says anything. It’s only several hours later, when James is drunkenly crying and wailing on the floor, “He’s going to be so small! How can I protect him? SO SMALL!” that they realize what’s going on. They ask him if he is going to be alright. He sobs, tears and snot running down his face, and nods furiously. “This is the happiest I have ever been!” The others look at each other, shake their heads, and pull him to his feet. Sirius marches him back home to Lily, who has been waiting, scared, alone, and more than a little pissed off at her boyfriend for the better part of the night. She softens when she sees James drunkenly leaning on Sirius, Sirius shrugging in apology, because James is a mess but at least he’s home now. James falls to his knees in front of her and says, “I’m so sorry I ran off. I got scared. I’m still scared. But I’m happy too.” Lily can’t help but smile. “It’s alright, James, we’ll figure–” But James loudly shushes her and points at her stomach. “Wait. I’m talking to my son.” Lily glares at him and reminds him that it could be a daughter. Sirius adds, “Could be twins! Or quintuplets!” Lily glares more and tries not to laugh while James murmurs into her belly, “’M gonna ask your mum to marry me, but keep it secret ‘cause I have to buy a ring first. And a broom. Not for the wedding. For you. Do you like quidditch? You probably don’t know what that is yet. Don’t worry. I’ll teach you. I’ll teach you everything.”
